2026-10-13 15:25

On October 12, the 2026 “Red Journey for Research and Study” program in Vietnam was officially launched in Hanoi. Wang Qun, Chargé d'Affaires ad interim of the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, and Bui Quang Huy, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, among others, attended the event.

In his remarks, Wang Qun said that young people carry the future of China–Vietnam relations and are an important force for the two countries in building a high-level community with a shared future. He expressed the expectation that young people of the two countries, taking part in the Red Journey for Research and Study program as an opportunity, will strive to be inheritors of the red gene, builders of China–Vietnam friendship, and strivers for the modernization of both countries, and contribute the strength of youth to the long-term development of bilateral relations.

The Vietnamese side said that Vietnam and China are important neighbors with the traditional bond of “comrades plus brothers.” Vietnam stands ready to work with China to ensure the success of the Red Study Tour and to provide a broad stage for young people of both sides to enhance mutual understanding and carry forward the cause of friendship.

The study program lasts five days, during which 100 young people from China and Vietnam will visit revolutionary relics in various parts of Vietnam that reflect the friendly exchanges between the two countries, tracing red memories and carry forward the traditional friendship.
