On October 1, to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China, the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam, the Ministry of Public Security of Vietnam, the National Centre for the Performing Arts (NCPA) of China, and the Ho Guom Theatre of Vietnam jointly presented a special concert titled "Harmony of Vietnam and China." Attendees included Chargé d'Affaires ad interim Wang Qun of the Chinese Embassy, Wang Ning, President of the NCPA of China, and high-ranking Vietnamese Party, government and military officials such as Phan Van Giang, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense, Luong Tam Quang, Minister of Public Security, and Le Hoai Trung, Minister of Foreign Affairs, as well as over 700 friends from various sectors and media representatives of the two countries.

The concert opened with the national anthems of China and Vietnam. Artists from both sides jointly performed classic pieces such as "Liang Zhu (The Butterfly Lovers)" and "Dare to Ask Where the Road Is," and presented with deep emotion the China–Vietnam friendship movement "Vietnam–China" and other world famous melodies. The cultures of the two countries shone together in the melodies, and the event reached repeated crescendos amid thunderous applause.

Before the event, Phan Van Giang and other Vietnamese officials held a brief exchange with Wang Qun, warmly congratulating China on the 77th anniversary of its National Day, speaking highly of the achievements in artistic and cultural troupe exchanges between the two countries, and expressing the hope to contribute to the building of a Vietnam–China community with a shared future through high-level cultural exchanges and mutual learning.
