2026-08-25 19:35

On August 19, the Chinese Embassy in Vietnam held the award ceremony for the 2026 Chinese Government Scholarship admission letters. Ambassador He Wei attended and delivered a speech. Nearly 60 participants attended, including Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh, Deputy Director General of the Department of International Cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Training, as well as scholarship students and their parents.

Ambassador He Wei presented the admission letters to the students and encouraged them to aim high and study hard, to experience the remarkable dynamism of Chinese modernization, to appreciate the unique charm of Chinese culture and the profound "comrades plus brothers" friendship between China and Vietnam, and to strive to grow into pillars of talent capable of shouldering the responsibilities of the times, so as to pool the vigor of youth for building a higher-level China–Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.

Nguyen Thi Thanh Minh thanked the Embassy for its strong support for educational cooperation between the two countries, and hoped that the students would live up to their prime years, forge ahead with drive and ambition, and play an important role in national development and Vietnam–China friendship. A student representative stated that they would  cherish even more this precious opportunity to study abroad and their time of learning, and strive to become inheritors and successors of the enduring friendship between the two countries.
