On July 10, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei met with Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Da Nang Municipal Party Committee, in Da Nang. Chinese Consul General in Da Nang Dong Biyou also attended the meeting.

Ambassador He Wei stated that under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two Parties and countries, China and Vietnam have opened a magnificent new chapter in building a higher-level community with a shared future, injecting new momentum into subnational cooperation. He noted that China is driving high-quality development with new quality productive forces, while Vietnam's new era of national rise places great emphasis on technological innovation. With Da Nang committed to building an international financial center and a free trade zone, both sides could strengthen cooperation in manufacturing, finance, logistics, tourism, and other fields, delivering more tangible outcomes at the local level in line with the consensus reached by the two heads of state.

Secretary Le Ngoc Quang responded that Da Nang is focusing on digital transformation to unlock internal driving forces and deepening international integration to open up new development space. He emphasized that the city attaches great importance to cooperation with China in areas such as urban governance, artificial intelligence, and cultural tourism. He expressed readiness to follow the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two countries to create a shining example of mutually beneficial subnational cooperation and contribute to the bilateral good-neighborly friendship.
