Chinese Ambassador Meets with Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of Vietnam

On June 30, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei met with Le Minh Tri, Member of the Politburo of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and Head of the Central Internal Affairs Commission.

Ambassador He Wei stated that China and Vietnam, as the only two socialist countries in the world with a population of over 100 million each, share the fundamental principle that upholding the Party's leadership is essential for the steady and sustained advancement of their modernization endeavors. At this critical juncture of respective development and rejuvenation, China is ready to work with Vietnam to strengthen the Party's governance capacity and ensure its advanced nature and purity, learn from each other and move forward together on the socialist path suited to their respective national conditions, and inject lasting momentum into the building of a higher-level China-Vietnam community with a shared future that carries strategic significance.

Mr. Le Minh Tri responded that under the new circumstances, Vietnam is ready to follow the important consensus reached by the top leaders of the two Parties, strengthen Vietnam-China solidarity and friendship, deepen exchanges and mutual learning in governance and Party conduct and integrity building, continuously enrich socialist theory and practice, and promote the steady progress of the modernization cause of both countries.
