The Power of Faith – Chinese Ambassador Visits President Ho Chi Minh’s Revolutionary Relic Site
2026-04-24 19:15

On April 19, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei visited the Pac Bo Revolutionary Relic Site in Cao Bang Province.

Ambassador He and his delegation paid tribute to the memorial hall of President Ho Chi Minh at the relic site and wrote the message: “A glorious starting point, forever remembered.” In the dimly lit cave where President Ho Chi Minh once worked and lived, Ambassador He remarked: “As those who came after him, we feel even more deeply the power of faith right here.” He noted that 85 years ago, President Ho Chi Minh crossed into Pac Bo, Vietnam, from Guangxi, China, and in these extremely difficult conditions, he led the Communist Party of Vietnam and the Vietnamese people through their arduous struggle, launching the great journey of national founding and defense, and fulfilling the historic mission of national independence and liberation. Today, we come here with profound reverence to learn from his steadfast faith and to honor his contributions to China-Vietnam relations. Looking to the future, we must remain true to our original aspiration, stay firm in our conviction, carry forward the friendship, and bring benefit to the two countries and their peoples.

During the visit, Ambassador He Wei also met with Be Thanh Tinh, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Cao Bang Provincial Party Committee, and learned about local progress in new rural development and Party building at the grassroots level.
