2026-04-14 17:34

On April 5, Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh met with Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei.

Ambassador He Wei stated that under the leadership and guidance of the top leaders of the two Parties, China-Vietnam relations have been advancing with strong momentum, with fruitful outcomes in mutually beneficial cooperation and good-neighborly friendship deeply rooted in the hearts of the people. This year marks the beginning of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan and a new era of national development for Vietnam. China is willing to work closely with Vietnam to continuously write new chapters in the building of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future through high-level political mutual trust and high-quality practical cooperation.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh stated that the vigorous development of Vietnam-China relations has become a strong support and solid backing for the respective modernization of both countries. The “3+3” strategic dialogue on diplomacy, defense and public security, the first of its kind in the world, is a vivid manifestation of the deepening and solid progress in building the Vietnam-China community with a shared future. Under the new historical conditions, Vietnam is willing to work with China to promote the spirit of “comrades and brothers,” deepen strategic alignment in areas such as economy and trade, infrastructure, energy, finance, and people-to-people exchanges, and foster more tangible and accessible practical outcomes, continuously benefiting the two countries and their peoples.
