2026-04-08 17:45

On March 27, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei met with Thai Dai Ngoc, Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Secretary of the Gia Lai Provincial Party Committee, and Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee. Chinese Consul General in Da Nang Dong Biyou also attended the meeting.

Ambassador He Wei noted that over the past two years, China-Vietnam relations have advanced with strong momentum, and the comprehensive strategic cooperation between the two countries has entered a new phase full of vitality and potential. He expressed hope that Gia Lai Province would board the train of China-Vietnam cooperation, fully leverage its natural resources, make good use of the brand effect of Vietnam's National Tourism Year, actively connect with the vast Chinese market, and explore new models of economic, trade, cultural, and tourism cooperation between the two countries' localities, contributing to the building of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future.

Secretary Thai Dai Ngoc responded that the current Vietnam-China relationship has reached unprecedented new heights, presenting broad prospects for subnational cooperation between the two countries. He stated that Gia Lai Province is ready to follow the strategic direction set by the top leaders of the two Parties, actively explore new areas of synergy for subnational cooperation, and deepen collaboration in distinctive tourism, high-tech agriculture, cultural and people-to-people exchanges, digital transformation, and other fields, contributing more local strength to the building of the Vietnam-China community with a shared future.
