On December 24, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei and spouse Madam Sun Chang exchanged views with a visiting delegation of teachers and students from the Hong Kong Centre for National History Education. Young diplomats from the Embassy participated in the exchange, which was hosted by Counselor Luo Yaoguang.

Ambassador He Wei and Madam Sun Chang encouraged the students to cultivate an international perspective through their visit, while also deepening their understanding of China's history and culture to strengthen their patriotic sentiment and national pride. They urged the students to study hard, aspire to achieve great accomplishments, and make contributions to building a better Hong Kong and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

Young diplomats from the Embassy vividly recalled Chairman Ho Chi Minh's revolutionary years in Hong Kong, shared stories about the traditional friendship forged by the older generation of revolutionaries from China and Vietnam, and introduced the achievements of bilateral cooperation in economy, trade, and culture. The teachers and students shared their impressions from the visit, stating that they had not only personally experienced the profound "comrades plus brothers" friendship between China and Vietnam, but also witnessed the achievements of socialism in Vietnam. They expressed their willingness to actively contribute to the building of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future in the times to come.
