On December 18, Chinese Ambassador to Vietnam He Wei met with Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Secretary of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee, at the Chinese Embassy.

Ambassador He Wei stated that the building of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future continues to deepen and deliver tangible outcomes, with the friendship and good-neighborliness between the two countries enjoying broad public support. Thai Nguyen Province, he noted, carries profound memories of China-Vietnam friendship and stands as a witness to the revolutionary camaraderie forged through the shared struggles of both peoples. He expressed hope that Thai Nguyen would fully leverage its natural strengths, further explore its historical and revolutionary resources, strengthen coordination with Chinese provinces and cities through sister-city mechanisms, provide a more favorable business environment for Chinese enterprises investing and operating locally, and promote the province’s economic transformation and upgrading through high-quality, practical cooperation.

Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that Vietnam and China share a special relationship as “comrades and brothers,” and developing friendship with China remains the highest priority of Vietnam’s foreign policy. Following the successful restructuring of Vietnam’s party and government institutions as well as local administrative divisions, Thai Nguyen now possesses broader development prospects. The province stands ready to establish more sister-city relationships with Chinese localities, provide maximum convenience for Chinese enterprises in seeking business opportunities, and contribute local momentum to the construction of the China-Vietnam community with a shared future.
