On July 31, Ambassador He Wei met with Nguyen Chi Dung, Deputy Prime Minister of Vietnam.
Ambassador He Wei stated that the development of China–Vietnam relations has run through the entire history of the two countries’ struggle for national independence, liberation, and socialist construction, with a solid political foundation and broad prospects for development. Under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two Parties, the two countries have entered a new era of building a community with a shared future. Facing a complex and turbulent international situation, both sides should remain true to their original commitment to mutual support, uphold the belief in solidarity and friendship, strengthen coordination of development strategies, continuously enhance the effectiveness of comprehensive strategic cooperation, and work together for the benefit of both countries and their peoples.
Nguyen Chi Dung said that China and Vietnam, as closely intertwined partners in a shared destiny, have a uniquely strategic and special bilateral relationship. The Vietnamese government welcomes more Chinese enterprises to invest and operate in Vietnam, strengthen cooperation in strategic areas such as technological innovation and transport infrastructure development, focus on building high-quality and practical cooperation, and better respond to external risks and challenges. |
