2025-07-31 18:50

On July 30, Ambassador He Wei met with Nguyen Hoang Anh, Member of the Communist Party of Vietnam Central Committee and President of the Vietnam–China Friendship Association.

Ambassador He Wei stated that, under the strategic guidance of the top leaders of the two Parties, the 2025 China–Vietnam Year of People-to-People Exchanges has achieved fruitful results, further creating new models of cultural and people-to-people exchanges, expanding new channels for public engagement, and laying a fresh foundation of public support. China will continue to strongly support friendly exchanges between the peoples of the two countries, continuously deepen and broaden cooperation in economic, technological, infrastructure, education, cultural, and tourism fields, and steadily advance the building of a China–Vietnam community with a shared future to a new level.

Nguyen Hoang Anh said that, as an important force for people-to-people exchanges between Vietnam and China, the Vietnam–China Friendship Association will, in the next phase, leverage its unique characteristics, tap into the potential advantages of its members, accelerate coordination with relevant Chinese authorities, localities, and enterprises, learn from China’s valuable experiences, and strive to be a pioneer of good-neighborly friendship, making greater contributions to further deepening cooperation across various fields between the two countries.
