President Xi Jinping Appoints New Ambassadors

Recently, President of the People's Republic of China Xi Jinping announced the appointment of the following new Ambassadors in line with decisions adopted by the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress:

I. Zheng Zeguang was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, replacing Liu Xiaoming.

II. Qian Minjian was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Lebanon, replacing Wang Kejian.

III. Zhang Lizhong was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Republic of Uganda, replacing Zheng Zhuqiang.

IV. Zeng Fanhua was appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to the Independent State of Papua New Guinea, replacing Xue Bing.
